Hammerhead Shark F1

Hammerhead has been an exercise based in nostalgia for me and it’s been good to go back to my roots and turn out another banger for myself that I hope you will all like. Listening to cultivation podcasts and discussions of older strains really got the memories flowing of strains I had spent time with. One of those that brought fond memories was Great White Shark by Greenhouse seeds. I kind of figured it would be a waste of money and that Greenhouse has long ago sold out and began white labeling watered down seeds from private seed makers. So I bought 7 packs of fem seeds and germinated 6 of them, keeping 1 in my personal vault for nostalgia. I held my breath and began germinating these pale white seeds. To my utter shock about 8 seeds survived to the small plant stage and they all looked identical. Just like I remember, with huge bright green leaves and a wide fat stature. I had spent my early years in Cannabis with the White family.. Shark, Rhino and like us all moved on to new things but there are certain strains you talk about years later and Great White Shark was mine. Maybe it was the excitement of learning or finally having something considered to be elite for the times.. Whatever it was, Great White Shark has always held a special place in my heart.
I started flowering 6 of the 8 and threw the rest of the Thousand Oaks f2 pollen at them to bring to life Hammerhead Shark. These are BIG dark seeds, healthy and the offspring should offer something special for the hunter. Our Great White Shark is lemony with a black pepper spice to the exhale. Some phenotypes have a slightly more sweet berry scent but all exhibit that dense wide look. Our male thousand Oaks f2 was a wide leafed variety that held a skunky burning rubber scent with a sweet and mean myrcene after linger. With so many players in the game chasing fruits and candies or bland terps and high numbers, Omuerta continues to do what brought us to the dance. Mixing unique old school strains with newer designer cultivars to make stable products people want to return to year after year.
